President Obama has declared a major disaster in Oklahoma after a deadly tornado hit a suburb of Oklahoma City Monday afternoon.<br/> <br />The president spoke with Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin by phone Monday night.<br/> <br />Federal aid in the form of temporary housing, and home repairs will supplement state and local recovery efforts.<br/> <br />The devastating and massive twister that struck about 3pm local time has killed at least 51 people... including 20 children.<br/> <br />Dozens more children are believed to be trapped inside an elementary school that was leveled.<br/> <br />Hospital officials say of the 230 or so injures, at least 45 are believed to be children.<br/> <br />A temporary triage has been set up at a local movie theatre as some medical centers are also dealing with damages.
