TV AND WEB RESTRICTIONS~*NONE*<br/> <br />A Sunni gunman in the Lebanese city of Tripoli fires into the Alawite neighbourhood of Jabal Mohsen.<br/> <br />Tripoli has suffered sporadic sectarian violence since the Sunni-led uprising against President Bashar al-Assad broke out two years ago in neighbouring Syria.<br/> <br />At least 18 people have been killed and more than 120 wounded in the latest bout of violence, according to security sources.<br/> <br />Sunnis in the city are mostly sympathetic to the rebels, whilst Alawites, members of an offshoot sect of Shia Islam, are more supportive of the Alawite-led regime of Bashar al-Assad.<br/> <br />Tensions have been particularly high in recent weeks due to fierce fighting in the Syrian town of Qusair just over the border.
