ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: A possible tornado in central Russia ripped through a small town of Obninsk on Thursday, leaving damaged houses, cables and a wake of destroyed vehicles.<br/> <br />Amateur video shot in the town about 110 kilometers southwest of Moscow, showed a funnel cloud touching down in a residential area and passing close by the world's first civilian nuclear plant, built in 1954 and shuttered in 2002.<br/> <br />The storm left some local residents without electricity, however, no major damage was reported.<br/> <br />According to Russian media, the emergency ministry called the suspected tornado an "atmospheric front".
