Chelsea, the daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton, visits a village in Myanmar.<br/> <br />Her trip marked the sixth billionth litre of potable water purified under the auspices of the Children's Safe Drinking Water Programme, founded by global consumer goods giant Proctor & Gamble.<br/> <br />The programme provides communities without access to clean drinking water with special P&G brand purifying powder.<br/> <br />Each packet can filter up to 10 litres of water.<br/> <br />Over 71 countries have benefited from the easy-to-use packets, saving an estimated 32,000 lives, according to USAID.<br/> <br />Speaking in Yangon on Monday, Clinton said potable water is key to healthy communities.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHELSEA CLINTON, SAYING:<br/> <br />"I can't wait to come back in a few years and see all the villagers that have clean drinking water and all the kids who will grow up healthy because of it."<br/> <br />According to USAID, 2,000 children die every day from illnesses caused by unsafe water around the world.
