A police escort rushes a prison van into a court in central London.<br/> <br />Inside is Michael Adebowale, a 22 year old man charged with the murder of a British solider on a London street.<br/> <br />Amid heavy security outside, inside Adebowale was just asked to confirm his name and address and did not enter a plea.<br/> <br />His case is being sent to England's top criminal court the Old Bailey in London.<br/> <br />Adebowale is accused of the murder of this soldier - 25-year old Afghan veteran Lee Rigby - and with the illegal possession of a firearm.<br/> <br />After the brief hearing, Adebowale was taken in convoy to London's high-security Belmarsh prison.<br/> <br />Nearby, in Woolwich, at the scene of the killing, the mound of floral tributes was growing.<br/> <br />The incident has generated a huge response in Britain.<br/> <br />A second suspect, who was also shot and detained by police, is still recovering in hospital.
