First the winds and now the rains.<br/> <br />Oklahoma suffered powerful thunderstorms on Friday that led to widespread flooding.<br/> <br />And this after multiple tornados ripped through the state earlier in the day, killing five people.<br/> <br />Hospitals are treating over 40 people for storm-related injuries, caused by winds of up to 90 miles per hour.<br/> <br />Meteorologists declared a tornado emergency for parts of Oklahoma City.<br/> <br />And one twister touched down in the city of Moore, the site of last week's storms that killed 24 people.<br/> <br />Utilities companies say over 170,000 customers were without power in Oklahoma and neighbouring states in the region known as Tornado Alley.
