A wildfire tears through the U.S. state of California on Saturday.<br/> <br />The blaze, now several days old, has has so far torched 80 square kilometres and forced the evacuation of 1,000 buildings.<br/> <br />Fed by strong winds and soaring temperatures, it has shown little sign of letting up.<br/> <br />Crews are trying to stop the blaze from reaching a nearby town and power lines.<br/> <br />But on Saturday they battled exhaustion and dehydration as well as the flames.<br/> <br />The fire is about 50km north of Los Angeles and officials are not sure when it will brought under control.
