Deputy PM in Turkey apologises for initial police violence

Demonstrators try to put out the flames in Istanbul as smoke rises from containers.<br/> <br />They are not the only ones trying to change the temperature in Turkey.<br/> <br />On Tuesday Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc offers an apology of sorts.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Turkish) TURKISH DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER BULENT ARINC, SAYING:<br/> <br />"The use of excessive force shown against the people who initially started this protest with the motive of protecting the environment was wrong. And it was unfair. So I apologize to those citizens, I can definitely say that.
