Rescue workers in downtown Philadelphia searched Wednesday for at least two people trapped under rubble, after a four-story building collapsed in the Center City neighborhood.<br/> <br />Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers said twelve others had been rescued from the debris and taken to area hospitals.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) PHILADELPHIA FIRE COMMISSIONER LLOYD AYERS SAYING:<br/> <br />"They have all been transported as Class 3's, which means that they have minor injuries to being stable so that's really good."<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) PHILADELPHIA MAYOR MICHAEL NUTTER SAYING:<br/> <br />Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter reminded the public the site remained an active search and rescue operation.<br/> <br />"It is delicate, this is dangerous work."<br/> <br />The collapse is believed to have happened during the scheduled demolition of an adjacent building.
