A high-speed chase along a Los Angeles highway Wednesday.<br/> <br />Police were in hot pursuit of a motorcyclist driving at speeds of over 145 km an hour, wanted on suspicion of reckless driving, according to NBC.<br/> <br />Seemingly unconcerned with safety, the motorcyclist weaved throughout traffic and even waved his hands at officers.<br/> <br />But in the end, his efforts to escape were futile as he drove onto a section of highway still under construction.<br/> <br />The motorcyclist eventually jumped from his bike and collapsed.<br/> <br />Two officers, with guns drawn, then approached the man and took him into custody.
