U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping were all smiles in sunny Palm Springs, California on Friday.<br/> <br />Obama is hosting his Chinese counterpart at what's being billed as a casual, 'get-to-know-you' sort of summit, decidedly removed from the formalities of Washington DC.<br/> <br />But despite the relaxed venue, several potentially thorny issues are up for discussion, including cybersecurity.<br/> <br />In closed door meetings both leaders have expressed the need for the U.S. and China to work together on tackling the issue.<br/> <br />Earlier, in front of the media, both leaders stressed their desire for cooperation.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA SAYING:<br/> <br />"Inevitably, there are areas of tension between our two countries, but what I've learned over the last four years is both the Chinese people and the American people want a strong, cooperative relationship."<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Mandarin) CHINESE PRESIDENT XI JINPING SAYING:<br/> <br />"Both sides shou
