Perched high above Manhattan, a pair of window washers became stranded on a sky scraper.<br/> <br />The two person window washing crew was working outside the 45th floor of the Hearst Tower when their platform got stuck.<br/> <br />Bystanders watched from the ground as firefighters cut out a window and pulled the men inside to safety.<br/> <br />The fire department decided cutting the window was safer than hoisting the men to the roof.
