Humble cocoa is the key ingredient of chocolate but farmers in the Ivory Coast, the world's leading producer, are ditching their beans for rubber.<br /><br />Last year, Ivorian farmers produced 255,000 tonnes of rubber, and aim to increase production to 600,000 by 2020.<br />Easier to produce, and less seasonal, rubber is increasingly replacing cocoa as the crop of choice. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Yvone Ndege reports from Sikensi.
