ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: A group of mothers formed a human-chain as they walked through Istanbul's Taksim square on Thursday to protect their own children demonstrating in Gezi Park.<br/> <br />Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan issued a final warning to protesters occupying the park, saying his patience had run out and he called on protesters' parents to take their children in hand.<br/> <br />The mothers that Reuters spoke to said they had gathered in Taksim square to protect their children.<br/> <br />Erdogan is set to meet with members of a group opposed to the redevelopment of the Istanbul park in a bid to end two weeks of anti-government protests.<br/> <br />The White House on Thursday said Turkish authorities should uphold the freedoms of expression and assembly, and individuals should not be punished for exercising their rights.
