A rare 75-year-old comic book featuring the debut of Superman has fetched 175,000 dollars at auction, according to comic book seller Comicconnect.com.<br/> <br />The comic book, Action Comics No. 1 from June 1938, was the very first appearance of the all-American superhero by writer Jerry Siegel and illustrator Joe Shuster.<br/> <br />It was found hidden in the wall of a Minnesota home by a building contractor.<br/> <br />The identity of the buyer in the online auction, which ended on Tuesday, was not disclosed.<br/> <br />There are only about 100 remaining copies of the 250,000 originals.<br/> <br />Superman gets a big-screen reboot in the movie "Man of Steel," with Henry Cavill the latest actor to play him.
