Deutsche Bahn has been granted permission by British and French authorities to operate passenger trains through the channel tunnel.<br /><br />Direct train services between London and Frankfurt are set to be launched in 2016.<br /><br />The German rail firm joins channel-operator Eurostar, which is majority owned by France's SNCF.<br />http://www.euronews.net/
