U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama paid her respects at Berlin's Holocaust memorial on Wednesday.<br/> <br />Accompanied by her daughters and security agents, Michelle Obama walked between the large grey tomb-like slabs of the city centre monument.<br/> <br />Her visit to the memorial came as part of a scheduled itinerary for U.S. President Barack Obama's family in the German capital during his first official visit.<br/> <br />In addition to the Holocaust memorial trip, the First Lady is also expected to take in other historic Berlin sights including Checkpoint Charlie and the Berlin Wall memorial.
