Revived Afghan peace talks have hit their first roadblock - just a day after they were announced by the U.S. and Taliban.<br />But Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Shaffer, a former intelligence officer who went under cover in Afghanistan in 2003 and 2004, spoke to Al Jazeera about Pakistan's role in Taliban's peace talks.<br /><br />He says Pakistan has not been included in the Afghan peace process, and no deal will survive without their support.
