The artistic director of Russia's Bolshoi ballet Sergei Filin is almost blind following an acid attack, despite 18 operations to save his sight.<br /><br />At a news conference on June 20, Bolshoi spokeswoman Katerina Novikova said Filin could barely see out of either eye.<br /><br />It has been alleged that the assault was masterminded by a rival dancer.<br /><br />Filin has vowed to return to the Bolshoi.<br />http://www.euronews.net/
