People in Singapore have been warned the thick smog shrouding the city could last for weeks.<br />The government is blaming neighbouring Indonesia where farmers are starting fires to clear their fields.<br />This image captured by NASA's satellite shows smoke from the wildfires blowing east toward southern Malaysia and Singapore.<br />Al Jazeera's Nidhi Dutt reports from the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
