Thousands of people are confirmed dead after flooding in northern India.<br />The military is leading the rescue operation with helicopter missions into the worst affected areas in the Uttrakhand mountains.<br />But more than 20,000 people are yet to be rescued. <br />Al Jazeera's Sohail Rahman reports from Dehradun.
