Over the weekend, the NYC Gay Pride Rally was held at Pier 26 on Friday June 28, 2013. <br /><br />The highlight of the day was when unofficial LGBT queen Lady Gaga gave a short speech in support of the gay community and sang the Star Spangled Banner. <br /><br />The pop star closed the national anthem in a special way, with,”For the land of the free, and home for the gay,” to great applause.
