He wants to go to USA and do further studies, but his grandfather (Kota Srinivasa Rao) insists that Babu should serve Surabhi troup. Grandfather dies and his last wish for B Tech Babu was to do a stage play called Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum in Bellary stage play competition. B Tech Babu and his group travel to Bellary. As he starts working for play in Bellary, he stumbles on a mining magnate Reddappa (Milind Gunaji) and a documentary filmmaker Devika (Nayantara).
