Archaeologists in Scotland have discovered what they believe to be the world's oldest lunar calendar.<br /><br />The series of 12 pits which appear to mimic the phases of the moon and track lunar months was found in a field at Crathes Castle in Aberdeenshire.<br /><br />A team led by the University of Birmingham believe the calendar was created by hunter-gatherers about 10,000 years ago.<br /><br />...<br />http://www.euronews.net/
