Protesters in India's Kashmir face off with police as clashes renew.<br/> <br />Anger in the divided territory is boiling over after several violent incidents this week.<br/> <br />On Thursday, Indian paramilitary soldiers killed four and wounded 40 others when they opened fire on demonstrators in the Doda district.<br/> <br />Security forces say they fired in self-defence when protesters stormed their camp and the government has ordered a probe into the incident.<br/> <br />According to locals, the Border Security Force also barged into an Islamic school in Dadad village Wednesday and beat students and desecrated a Koran.<br/> <br />Both India and Pakistan claim the border region of Kashmir, with India accusing its neighbour of supporting separatist rebels and undermining its rule.<br/> <br />Pakistan denies arming the rebels, saying it only offers them political support.
