A raging wildfire in Southern California continues to burn for a fifth day as poor weather threatens to hamper containment efforts.<br/> <br />From the ground and the sky, firefighters raced to reinforce a buffer zone between the fire and the towns it threatens.<br/> <br />The so called "Mountain Fire" is inching closer to the scenic resort town of Idyllwild and has already charred nearly 25,000 acres of dry brush and timber.<br/> <br />Residents in that community, which is known for it's hiking trails, arts and music scene, were ordered to evacuate earlier this week.<br/> <br />Of the 17 or so large wildfires burning across several western states, officials said this fire ranks as their top priority.
