EDITORS PLEASE NOTE: THIS EDIT CONTAINS MATERIAL WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY 4:3<br/> <br />Seven coal miners in China are trapped underground after a mine accident on Wednesday.<br/> <br />The accident occurred at around 1:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday when 273 miners were working in the shaft of the Shanmushu Coal Mine in Gongxian county, Sichuan province.<br/> <br />Over 120 rescuers and 20 medical workers are on the scene to assist in the rescue.<br/> <br />The cause of the accident is under investigation.<br/> <br />China's mines are the deadliest in the world because of lax enforcement of safety standards and a rush to feed demand from a robust economy.
