At least one person has been killed and eleven others injured by a hit and run driver on California's Venice Beach.<br /><br />Pictures captured from inside a nearby cafe show the moment the driver crashed into the crowds.<br /><br />The driver later fled the scene.<br /><br />Witnesses told police it appeared the man was in control of his car as he ran people down. <br /><br />A man in his 20's has been arrested in connection with the incident.
