Back in 2010, Sergeant Nathan Gates arrived in Afghanistan for the first time. His company, tasked to push deep into enemy territory, was hit daily and getting into constant fire fights. This time around his mission is very different. Working alongside Afghan security forces, Sergeant Gates says he has noticed a "massive change" in their capability and attitude, and they are actually "taking care of their own".
