Ceylon Teas, Inc. is a privately-held company headquartered in Orange County, California. Founded in 1994, we began our operations as a supplier of loose leaf and Ayurvedic (medicinal) teas to natural food markets in the United States. <br /><br />In 1996, we began supplying to gift-packers and our products emerged in the gift market. It was the interest of reputable gift-basket manufacturers and remarkable customer feedback that inspired us to create our own gift packs, while continuing to supply to the natural markets. Today Ceylon Teas is proud to supply our products to some of the largest specialty stores, club stores, natural food stores, and mail order companies in the country. <br /><br />Since our inception, Ceylon Teas has brought our black and herbal teas from the island of Sri Lanka, commonly known to tea connoisseurs as Ceylon. Yet we maintain our commitment to providing quality tea by also uncovering fertile tea gardens in China- namely from the Fujian District- to hand-pick our green and white teas. More recently we have explored the mountainous regions of Africa and lush gardens in Japan to include Rooibos and Sencha to our assortment of teas. We have also been USDA Certified for our organic products. <br /><br />Ceylon Teas continues our dedication to the community by providing job opportunities to uphold quality of life standards for physically and mentally handicapped individuals. Our commitment to this cause has earned us recognition from the United States Senate, California State Assembly and the City Mayor's Office.
