Randeep Hooda, known for his macho image on the silver screen, recently took digs at the so-called 'metrosexual' actors from the industry during an event related to his upcoming release John Day.

At the event, when asked to comment on the trend of actors becoming more conscious about their skin and beauty, Randeep wryly said, "When I was young, my mom had once told me 'when have lions ever washed their faces, beta?' I personally don't use any facial creams to look good as I am not a metrosexual. Those who use it, well, each to his own." Incidentally, Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham are known for endorsing fairness cream brands, making us wonder if the D actor was taking digs at Khan and Abraham.

Directed by Ahishor Solomon, John Day also stars Naseeruddin Shah and the film is slated to release on September 13 this year.
