Russian soldiers, rescue teams and volunteers are building temporary barriers to protect the city of Khabarovsk from floods.<br /><br />Waters have already reached record levels and they are expected to rise further in the coming days. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Peter Sharp reports from Khabarovsk in Russia's far east.
