Well let's not get soft, we all have grandparents."<br/> <br />Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars were among other top winners, with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis collecting three awards, including best hip-hop video.<br/> <br />British teen sensation One Direction, who won three VMAs last year, presented the night's first award - for best pop video, to Selena Gomez for "Come & Get It."<br/> <br />And the band themselves took home another award this year, the fan-voted song of the summer, for "Best Song Ever."
