Bringing the winds of change to the energy mix, Germany has opened its newest offshore wind farm.<br /><br />Located 100km off the island of Borkum in the North Sea, the 80 turbines are said to constitute the country's largest wind farm.<br /><br />Bard Energy claims it will power up to 400,000 households, and would go some way to achieving the goal of being nuclear free by 2022.<br />...<br />http://www.euronews.net/
