It was a world away from the Australian desert - where her new film takes place, but Mia Wasikowska shined as she walked the red carpet at the Venice film festival for the world premiere of her film "Tracks."<br/> <br />The actress posed for photos along the famed carpet and took time to greet fans and sign autographs, before heading into the hall for the movie's screening.<br/> <br />The film is a true story based on the 1979 book about the journey of a woman who walked almost 2,000 miles through the desert with a pack of camels.<br/> <br />It's one of 20 films competing for the coveted Golden Lion award at the festival.
