Parts of Yosemite National Park charred by wildfires

Firefighters in northern California continue battling the so called Rim Fire that has charred more than 100,000 acres of national forest.<br/> <br />The fire is burning parts of Yosemite National Park, one of the states most popular tourist destinations famous for it's giant sequoia groves and waterfalls.<br/> <br />Firefighters say they're setting more fires in an attempt to contain the flames.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) FLAGSTAFF "HOT SHOT" FIREFIGHTER ROB DINTMAN SAYING:<br/> <br />"We are basically creating a fire perimeter so we're reducing the fuels by blackening them, burning them so we can call it a contained line."<br/> <br />Treacherous terrain and unfavorable weather is making the firefighters jobs increasingly difficult. In fact, special firefighting drones are being readied to help reach remote parts of the fire.<br/> <br />The fire has destroyed four homes since it started on August 17th.
