European men are getting taller - that's the finding of data collected on hundreds of thousands of men since the 1870s.<br /><br />In Britain the average height at age 21 has risen from 167 cm to 177 cm. <br /><br />Genes, better nutrition, medical advances and improvements in sanitation are all thought to have contributed to the rise in height.<br /><br />Women were not included due to lack of historical data.<br />http://www.euronews.net/
