Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro, who imprisoned, raped and beat three women in his home for about a decade, has been found hanged in his Ohio prison cell.<br/> <br />Castro was sentenced on August 1 to life plus 1,000 years in prison for the crimes.<br/> <br />The former school bus driver, who was under protective custody and isolated from other inmates, was found dead on Tuesday night.<br/> <br />The 53-year-old was transferred to an area hospital and pronounced dead about 90 minutes later.<br/> <br />Castro was taken into custody in May after the three women he kidnapped - 27-year-old Amanda Berry, 23-year-old Gina DeJesus and 32-year-old Michelle Knight - were freed when neighbours heard Berry's cries for help.<br/> <br />The house where they were imprisoned and tortured was torn down just under a month ago - with Knight present for the demolition.<br/> <br />All three women had vanished without trace between 2002 and 2004, two as teenagers, after Castro lured them into his car with offers of a ride.<br/> <br />At h
