Fox NFL Sunday announces 14-time Grammy nominee Bruno Mars as the headliner for next year's Super Bowl halftime show.<br/> <br />In the kickoff of the first full weekend of professional football, 27-year-old Mars and his band, The Hooligans, were introduced before hundreds of screaming fans at Times Square in New York City.<br/> <br />The NFL says the Super Bowl halftime show is the most-watched music event in the world, and more than 110.5 million viewers saw last year's show, which featured Beyonce.<br/> <br />Next year, the game will be held on February 2 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.<br/> <br />He joins a list of singing legends who have headlined the Super Bowl halftime show, including Bruce Springsteen, Prince and Madonna.
