In its 70th year the Venice film festival came to an end with a first.<br /> <br />The first documentary ever to win the world's oldest film festival was crowned at the weekend.<br /> <br />"Sacro GRA" by Gianfranco Rosi won the prestigious Golden Lion award for best film.<br /> <br />It tells the story of a dozen characters living along the ring road around Rome - its name a pun on the ring road's name - Italian for Holy Grail.<br /> <br />Rosi said that with the award came a sense of responsibility.<br /> <br />SOUNDBITE: Golden Lion Winner, Gianfranco Rosi, saying (English):<br /> <br />"The last one was won by Amelio and the previous one by Bertolucci so for me it's an incredible honour.
