It was in December 1989 that Romania's Communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife Elena were executed after a short trial. The town of Targoviste has now decided to transform the site of their execution into a public museum, a decision that has proven controversial in a country that's still working out how to deal with its Communist past.
