The international community seems to be moving ahead with an idea that the U.S. originally described as a gaffe.<br/> <br />The idea: The U.S. drops its plans for a military strike and Syria gives up its chemical weapons.<br/> <br />France is writing a U.N. Security Council draft resolution and Russia is preparing a plan for Syria to follow.<br/> <br />French Foreign Affairs Minister Laurent Fabius says the resolution would demand Syria come clean about its program without delay.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (French) FRENCH FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER LAURENT FABIUS SAYING:<br/> <br />"Our objective is to eradicate chemical threat and the protection of the Syrian people.
