Turkish police fired teargas and water cannons as anger erupts across the country following the death of a protester earlier in the day.<br/> <br />Demonstrators used fireworks and flashed laser beams at the police.<br/> <br />A 22-year-old died in the early hours of Tuesday during a demonstration in Hatay province in the south of the country.<br/> <br />The cause of the young man's death was in dispute, with witnesses saying he was hit in the head. Police said he fell from a rooftop.<br/> <br />Anti-government demonstrations have largely cooled since early July, but there have been sporadic protests in Istanbul, Ankara and Hatay.
