A suicide bomber killed at least three Afghan civilians and wounded three others in an attack targeting a convoy of NATO and Afghan troops in the southern city of Kandahar on Saturday (September 14), officials said.<br/> <br />The bomber detonated his car loaded with explosive near the Afghan and NATO troops' convoy, official added.<br/> <br />The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack.<br/> <br />Friday, at least three people were killed when insurgents attacked the U.S. consulate in Herat, Afghanistan.
