Kerry, Netanyahu say military option still on table for Syria

While the new U.S.-Russia deal on Syria's chemical weapons may have postponed strikes, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is reassuring Israel that military action is still a possibility.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY, SAYING:<br/> <br />"Diplomacy has always been the preferred path of the President of the United States and I think any peace loving nation's preferred choice, but make no mistake we've taken no options off the table."<br/> <br />In Jerusalem, Kerry briefed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the six-point framework agreed to by the U.S. and Russia.<br/> <br />Syria has a week to reveal a full inventory of its stockpiles and must give up those weapons and destroy them by the middle of 2014.<br/> <br />If Syria fails to comply, the country could face sanctions or even military force.<br/> <br />Netanyahu gave Kerry his support for the negotiations and warned the world about the message Iran would receive if Syria goes unpunished.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English
