The first sanctuary for orphaned pygmy elephants has opened in the Malaysian state of Sabah.<br /><br />It is a refuge for animals fast losing access to their natural habitat.<br /><br />But it is funded by the palm oil producers, the very industry activists argue is causing harm to wildlife and the environment.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Andrew Thomas reports from the sanctuary in Borneo.
