ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />A pilot safely made an emergency landing of his single-engine experimental aircraft along Chicago's Lake Shore Drive as early morning joggers did double takes.<br/> <br />John Pedersen attempted the landing after noticing a problem with the rear wing of the plane as he passed Chicago's Willis Tower.<br/> <br />Pedersen says he timed the landing to a red light on the drive's northbound lanes when fewer cars were on the roadway.<br/> <br />Two cars were struck by the plane but fled the scene. The pilot was not injured.
