Britons Michaella McCollum Connolly and Melissa Reid arrive at court in the Peruvian capital to face drugs charges.<br/> <br />It was a brief appearance.<br/> <br />The pair pleaded guilty to drug trafficking.<br/> <br />The women, both aged 20, were held at Lima airport in August after cocaine worth 2.3 million dollars was found in their luggage.<br/> <br />They said an armed gang had forced them to take the drugs to Peru against their will.<br/> <br />The women are due to appear in court again next month.<br/> <br />They'll be sentenced at a further hearing after that.<br/> <br />The lead prosecutor in the case says they face jail terms of nearly seven years.<br/> <br />But officials say there's a chance they could be allowed to serve out their sentences in the UK
