St Louis Blues Hines Earl 1949 <br />During a performance of a Louis Armstrong concert somewhere in France in 1949 pianist Earl "Fatha" Hines is being featured in the St. Louis Blues. <br />Backing him up are Arvell Shaw on bass and Cozy Cole on drums. <br />Hines played a single tremble on same notes with the right hand while his left hand would play through the necessary chord changes. In later years this became one of his trade marks.
