With the luxurious Dorchester hotel, Vintage Jensen cars and glamorous female flight attendants, James Bond himself would have felt right at home for the launch of his new novel.<br/> <br />British novelist William Boyd has written the new Bond story 'Solo' which sees the character on assignment in Africa.<br/> <br />Boyd, who has already written two other spy novels, said he wasn't daunted by the challenge of taking on the hugely successful Bond brand.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE, William Boyd, author, saying (English):<br/> <br />"Actually when you go back and read the Fleming novels there is a phenomenal amount of information about him, fascinating and banal, significant and minor.
